Leisure activities and summer camps run by the youth and community centers (MJC) of West Lyon

March 16, 2026

The Youth and Culture Centers (MJC) of West Lyon present their summer 2026 activities for children aged 3 to 18.

Conceived and chosen by and for young people and children, these activities will satisfy all interests thanks to the diversity of options offered.
Give your children the opportunity to unleash their imagination and forget about mindless entertainment or the limitations imposed by their environment.
For decades, the MJCs have fostered youth empowerment through experimentation, collective learning, and encounters with others, always guided by the same core values: respect, commitment, the right to make mistakes, and above all, the fight against isolation and discrimination. Personal
growth that fosters creativity remains central to the MJCs' mission. Your children will have a wonderful summer with the MJCs of West Lyon! [The following appears to be unrelated

The MJCs (Youth and Culture Centers) are accredited by the SDJES Rhône (Rhône Departmental Directorate of Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion). All camps and leisure activities comply with supervision standards.
They ensure adherence to several principles for the smooth running of the centers:
● Creating situations that foster responsibility so that each young person becomes the author and active participant of their vacation,
● Promoting the development of each participant through sports, cultural activities, etc., and learning to live
in a group,
● Prioritizing small group sizes and maintaining connections with families,
● Ensuring the physical, moral, material, and psychological safety of young people,
● Employing competent and responsible activity and supervision teams,
● Offering the fairest price.
